Naveen Jain and Team Intelius
Intelius Inc is an information commerce company engaged in providing intelligence services to consumers and businesses over the Internet. It relies on the power of predictive information to empower its clientele in making intelligent decisions.
Naveen Jain, the company’s CEO and President, leads by developing a culture of teamwork, fostering synergy and collective effort that cuts through management and employees.
In January 2003, Intelius was founded by a team of visionaries. It is run by a team composed of brilliant innovators who were Naveen Jain’s former colleagues from InfoSpace. Through their collective leadership, the firm has emerged as one of the fastest-growing companies in North America.
Naveen Jain has served as CEO and president since 2003. He holds a B.S. degree in Engineering from IIT-Roorkee and an M.B.A. from St. Xavier’s School of Management. Prior to founding the company, he was founder and chairman of InfoSpace until 2002. He previously served as a senior executive at Microsoft Corporation.
Edward O. Petersen is co-founder and currently the executive vice president of sales & marketing. A graduate of B.A. in history and business administration from Whittier College, he has held several senior level positions at InfoSpace and was founder of Union-Street.com, an Internet company.
Kevin R. Marcus is chief technology officer, a position he has held since 2003. He studied computer science at the University of California and was chief software architect at InfoSpace from 1996 to 2002.
Chandan S. Chauhan is senior vice president of product marketing. From 2000 to 2002, he was vice president of new technologies for InfoSpace. Prior to InfoSpace, he held several management positions at Microsoft.
Niraj A. Shah has been executive vice president of engineering since 2003. He was formerly director of innovations for InfoSpace and senior executive for Active Voice, LLC.
John K. Arnold has been executive vice president of Business Development since Intellius’ inception. He led the wireless strategies and initiative section at InfoSpace. Arnold founded Outpost Network, Inc and previously worked for VoiceStream Wireless and Western Wireless Corporation.
