Nicholas Bredimus’ Remarkable Life

Hailing from New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus merged the spheres of airlines, software, and hospitality and revolutionized these industries. His CV covers effort-saving software, airplane safety developments, and he’s even involved in designing luxury homes. He’s brought true drive to all these areas, too. It could be predicted, of course, that with his family history he was certain to rise to distinction. His clan traces its ancestry as long ago as the time of Rome’s glory and proudly boasts a wide background. His maternal family originates from Scotland and Germany. Luxembourg and England, meanwhile, provided the source for his father’s family, though the family emigrated at the tail end of the 1800s.

This dauntless drive would serve them well on arrival. Part of a family of seven siblings, Nicholas had a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who worked as a nurse. He would come to live in Texas, Arizona, Kansas City and a township named Reston in Virginia.

He’s taken on high powered posts within businesses throughout the airline sector - many of them major names. Among these was included the vice presidential post for Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Hughes Airwest. But the airlines have had reason to thank him all the more for the creations he has made in software design. He is highly respected for one particular project, namely his airplane maintenance applications that come into use by the majority of airlines. He would go on to examine taking and recording reservations. For both air travel and hotels he produced software to offset much of the work necessary prior to automation. And next would come an automatic, networked approach to ticketing that stands as a first.

Albeit this is certainly his forte, he has also often worked on non-software fields. Mr Bredimus worked as manager for American Express’ prestigious IT wing, launched Bredimus Systems in the early nineties, and became the inaugural president of a major American Airlines division.

But is he still active? Very much so - his savvy is still highly ready to answer the call regardless his leaving prior interests behind. You’ll find his work now at the forefront of building design - blending the requirements of esthetics with up to date technology and real environmental concern.
