Yaz Side Effects and How to Receive Compensation for them
Yasmin contraceptive pill, most popularly called Yaz, is also calledYasmine, Yas or it’s generic name Ocella. Yasmin is the best selling birth control pill in the U.S.. It has now been learned that the widely used oral contraceptive can cause serious health risks. Yaz side effects are responsible for inducing heart attacks, strokes, other forms of blood cots, even pulmonary embolism. With misleading claims in their advertizing, Yaz was marketed towards women who had no idea exactly what kind of chances they were taking with their lives. This is why Yasmin has since been sanctioned by the Food and Drug Administration and are being asked to make proper campaign changes.
The Food and Drug Administration ordered the makers of Yaz, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, to broadcast commercials rectifying their incorrect claims in the original Yasmin oral contraceptive campaign ads. In the original adverts, Bayer claimed that Yasmin relieved PMS and all acne types. Even though, Yasmin is only approved to treat moderate to sever acne, it also relieves symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). In the original adverts the possible Yaz side effects were downplayed and these misleading claims regarding what exactly Yaz alleviates were emphasized.
The trouble with the Yaz side effects is that some women did not know that the potential side effects were so serious before taking the oral contraceptive. These side effects, extreme or moderate, could happen to anyone. With so many other types of oral contraceptives on the market, women would have at least had a choice to use something different if they saw what possibilities that were ahead with the use of Yaz. Since the introduction of Yaz as an birth control pill, numerous young women all over the world have been taking it and having critical or life-threatening medical problems.
