The Eat More Not Less Raw Food Diet
Dieting for weight loss may not be a painful hallmark experience of self-denial, limiting your food, or starving yourself. It is not the quantity of foodstuff we consume in question, it’s the quantity of food energy in the form of calories we consume and the quality of nutrition in our food choices that is important.
Two basic reasons exist which determine why so many are fat and getting fatter — their calorie intake is greatly out of balance with the calories they burn, and also the food quality is bad. Poor quality food usually is nutritionally depleted, high in fat content, and filled with additives, preservatives, artificial colorings and flavorings, with lots of dozens of chemicals that no one knows anything about.
Fundamental thinking will follow that there are two basic ways we can shed weight and continue to keep it off. Decrease the intake of calories and maximize calorie burn, and be sure to consume food that is high in quality. Food that has a higher quality is nutritious, lower in calories, low in fat content, loaded with nutrients, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and phytochemicals that aid in stallling the development of serious disease.
Experiment if you desire to drop some weight without feeling continually deprived of food. Your diet should be comprised of 40% fruits and 40% vegetables. Although you can eat a diet rich in vegetables and fruit, go easy on the spuds! Fruit and vegetable enzymes will help break down your food so that undigested food is not stored as fat. Consume less amounts of food and reduce consumption of poor quality foods. Eat food highest in quality for optimum dieting to lose weight. If you’re young and healthy, you might want to consider a raw food diet.
